Silver Summer Scheme

Our Silver Summer Scheme kicked off this week with Gardening. All the ladies had a great morning with Gerry from Glen Garth Garden Centre who showed them tricks of the trade when it comes to growing your own produce & keeping your plants healthy. They learned that even if you don’t have a big garden or allotment to grow your own produce you can still grow lots of different plants, veg & flowers and Gerry showed the group the different ways & containers in which you can use. We had some lucky ladies who won some of the baskets and arrangements that were kindly donated by Gerry. Pictured is some of our lucky winners…now they have no excuses about keeping these flowers looking beautiful!! Next week is our Baking with Rhona!
