HANDIHEAT is a three year project focussed on energy performance in rural housing and public infrastructure challenges in peripheral and arctic regions. The role of ARC in the project is to examine the policies that impact on eliminating Fuel Poverty and provide advice, guidance and support.

Breathe Easy groups provide support and information for people living with a lung condition, and for those who look after them.

Phase 1 was developed in 2013-14 with assistance of SWARD to build a new centre which is the location of CHERISH and  our children’s activities base. It is hoped that Phase 2 will now be implemented with the creation of a new health centre and dental practise.

EDGE

Work  with children from 5 to 16 who are exposed to the impacts of anti-social behaviour, low self esteem etc. This project will work directly with these children to help improve their opportunities to fulfill their potential in life. EDGE accepts referrals from : Schools, PSNI, Social Services, Parents/self referrals.

ARC CORE

A range of early and upstream interventions are delivered through the ARC. Currently we deliver: community pharmacy service, smoking cessation, sexual health services, drug and alcohol education and treatment services.

Irvinestown Community Partnership

This is an umbrella organisation for 36 local voluntary and community groups, active in the North Fermanagh area. The Partnership promotes communication and co-operation between its member organisations and assists local people in creating a positive vision for their community.

Friendly telephone/alert service. Looks to enable older people on pro-actively participating in improving quality of community life. The project aimes to promote independent living and reduce isolation.

ACCESS – Child Contact Centre

The Arc Child Contact Centre provides a safe, friendly and neutral place where children of separated families can spend time with the parent they no longer live with and sometimes other family members e.g. Grandparents.

 

 

Cherish Sure Start

Sure Start is built around the wants and needs of local people. Our aim is to improve the well-being of life opportunities for young children aged under 4 through better health, childcare, play and educational programmes, from the moment of conception.
