Community Pressure Point Hypertension Project Co-ordinator

NJC Scale 23 £21,693 pro rata plus 5% company pension

The role of the Community Pressure Point Hypertension Project Co-ordinator is to develop and deliver The Western Community Pressure Point Project

The project has been designed with community and clinical input to firstly encourage high risk individuals to undergo blood pressure testing and secondly ensure robust protocols are put in place to ensure abnormal readings are managed in the most appropriate and efficient way

In our delivery model Community Pressure Point Hypertension Project Co-ordinator will work closely with steering group and BHF. That post holder will be expected to have a level of pre-existing knowledge and competence but will undertake mandatory training in NICE guidelines (CG 127) and SIGN guidelines / patient pathways.

Relief Childcare Workers (Multiple posts)

 Flexible hours 

The Applicant must have, or be due to complete (in the current academic year) an appropriate childcare qualification NVQ II or equivalent and 1 Years experience working (voluntary or paid) in a childcare setting.

SSAVI is an ARC supported project that has successfully piloted the establishment of a Bank/register of relief child care workers. It is SSAVI’s view that given the existing and increasing financial pressures that rural dwellers face; safe, high quality, affordable childcare services are essential if people are to remain active in employment
