Salary: NJC SCP 7-13 £24,294 – £26,873 pro rata
Job Location: Cherish Sure Start Irvinestown/Newtownbutler, covering all Sure Start surrounding areas
Responsible to: Family Support Team Lead.
Time Fraction: Up to 37.5 hrs per week, family flexible working arrangements are available.
Pension: 6%
JOB PURPOSE
The family support worker will provide a range of individual and family interventions in the family home and/or within group-based programmes, to help families make positive changes in their lives and support their children’s wellbeing and early learning. They will promote and develop high quality, evidence-informed early childhood services for young children, their families and communities. The postholder will carry out home visits; providing information on Sure Start services and delivering specific support which has been requested by the families or referrals received from other professionals.
Allowance: Travel to be paid according to ARC Healthy Living Centre Ltd rates and guidance.
