3 posts within the Sure Start Crèche based in Newtownbutler
1 x PT (Term Time) Early Years Leader 16hrs Ref: EYL 07 17
The aim of the early year’s leader is to manage and support a team of early year’s workers to develop an inclusive range of play development opportunities for preschool children within the Sure Start Crèche. Applicants must have a QCF Level 5 in child care or equivalent. A minimum of 3 years paid or voluntary working with 0-4 years old in an early Year’s setting.
2 x PT (Term Time) Early Years Staff 8hrs Ref: EYS 07 17
The aim of the Early Year’s Staff is to support with the delivery of an inclusive range of play development opportunities for preschool children within the Sure Start. An appropriate child care qualification NVQ II or equivalent. A minimum of 1 years work experience paid or voluntary in a child care setting or similar environment
Relief Childcare Workers (Multiple posts)
The Applicant must have, or be due to complete (in the current academic year) an appropriate childcare qualification NVQ II or equivalent and 1 Years experience working (voluntary or paid) in a childcare setting.
SSAVI is an ARC supported project that has successfully piloted the establishment of a Bank/register of relief child care workers. It is SSAVI’s view that given the existing and increasing financial pressures that rural dwellers face; safe, high quality, affordable childcare services are essential if people are to remain active in employment
