Invite applications for the following posts:

 

Family Support Workers based in Irvinestown and Newtownbutler. There are several permanent posts available with a variety of working hours up to 35 hours per week.   Ref: FSW 0718

The family support workers will provide a range of individual and family interventions as well as group work programmes which are designed to help families make positive changes in their lives and support their children’s wellbeing and early learning. Applicants must have a have an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent. A minimum of 2 years voluntary or paid working with families with young children.

 

1 x Early Years Assistant based in the Aisling Centre, Enniskillen            Ref: EYA0718

Maternity Cover 22hrs                                

The early year’s assistant will support and develop an inclusive range of learning opportunities for preschool children within the Sure Start Developmental Programme for 2-3 Year Olds and Sure Start Crèche. An appropriate child care qualification QCF Level 5 or equivalent and 2 years work experience in a child care setting or similar environment

  

 

 

Relief Childcare Workers (Multiple posts)

 Flexible hours 

The Applicant must have, or be due to complete (in the current academic year) an appropriate childcare qualification NVQ II or equivalent and 1 Years experience working (voluntary or paid) in a childcare setting.

SSAVI is an ARC supported project that has successfully piloted the establishment of a Bank/register of relief child care workers. It is SSAVI’s view that given the existing and increasing financial pressures that rural dwellers face; safe, high quality, affordable childcare services are essential if people are to remain active in employment
